Tribal Superman Tattoo (Closed for Input)

My boyfriend is a big Superman fan and he's always wanted a tattoo on the subject, but I figured a standard-Superman logo is way too generic and overused at this point. I'm into tribal designs though; why not combine both? Is it possible to make a design that's raw, clean and simple (with just black as the ink), yet still undeniably superman? ^_^
